ABOUT IA HEALTH TECHNOLOGY AND SUPPLIES

International Aid (IA) is a Christian Non-profit organization. IA serves by providing enabling resources and support to humanitarian organizations and professionals who tend to the health and medical needs of the poor. It has done so for 3 decades in over 160 developing countries. IA’s knowledge, experience, and relationships are noteworthy. Nowhere is that more evident than in the area of medical equipment / supply – what we call Health Technology and Supplies (HTS).

IA shares its knowledge by working alongside its partners in planning, selection, procurement, repair, maintenance, logistics, technician training, project management, and consultation. From assisting itinerant clinicians, small rural clinics, and large metropolitan hospitals, to responding to global disasters (natural and man-made), IA has proven to be a trusted and potent partner that gets results.

IA brings value to relationships by not only what it does, but also by whom it knows. Its leadership helps guide the global mission of The Partnership for Quality Medical Donations. Its stewardship may be measured in annual Gift-in-kind contributions of over $75 million in medical equipment and supplies, pharmaceuticals, and other health products by such donor partners as: General Electric, Johnson & Johnson, Physio-Control, and Welch-Allyn. IA’s innovation and entrepreneurship engages respected NGO partners including Medical Teams, International, Partners In Health, CURE International, and the Clinton Foundation.

The health and medical products that IA offers include: new and reconditioned items from partnering manufacturers, reconditioned items secured from healthcare providers, and purchased items. IA’s Brand / model selections, product preparation, shipping logistics, and partner services are sensitive to the unique conditions and demands found in developing countries and diverse cultures. IA’s expert team provides insight and advice to solve partner challenges, and capture emerging opportunities.
